Cedric`s Family Restaurant in Idaho Falls

After brining my family here, they started out too busy at the register to seat us and asked us to find where we wanted to sit... after passing the only 2 other couples we found our seat... we proceeded to sit there and watch them seat 2 more sets of guests and get them drinks all while we still sat and waited... finally after 15 minutes they finally brought us menus but ran off not asking about drinks... after bringing the food to one of the tables that came in after us, they finally took our order... mind you, we still haven’t had any drinks... took our order and then brought us drinks shortly after.... we then seen the tables that came in after us finish eating their food and get their checks... still no food... we finally got our food after waiting an additional hour and it came out cold... do not waste your time or money here... there are much better places in town that deserve your money.

Great atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable. You receive a lot of food and it taste great. Services is really good too. They're always checking on you. Hands down, they have the best scones I ever had in my life.6-17-17: Here again. Forgot to take photos so that you can see the quality of the food for the price. My mother had a Ham and Cheddar cheese Omelette with hashbrowns and sausage gravy with a scone. I had 2 eggs, with hashbrowns, bacon and wheat toasts and a scone. All for $23.17. Awesome place, great food and great service. Love the fact they have an open bay for waitresses. You always see the help especially when you need something. They are always paying attention for you and not hiding in the back. Still a 5 star place.

Lovely staff and homey atmosphere, however the food was poorly seasoned, small in portions, and just wasn’t that good. I wouldn’t recommend.

There food is really good, their menu is unique with so many choices of simple plates with a twist from different states and countries don't be afraid to order you will not be disappointed.

Personally I think they have the best and most creative menu around. There's no reason not to check it out.

Wonderful family owned and run restaurant. I always love to find these kind of restaurants vs chains. Start with a caring staff. The food cones out quickly and is very tasty. Open 7 days a week.

Love the place and the people. Great food each and everytime coming here. Coulnt ask for better service. Omlets have amazing taste and the scones are one of a kind.

Ordered the Country Omelet, and that may have been the best omelet I have ever had. Pancakes were also perfect, and their boysenberry syrup was rich and flavorful. I'll be back for sure!

The service is amazing. Especially by Teresa! The onion rings are better than anything I've ever tried. Very unique. All foods are fresh and homemade daily. Clam chowder and a scone on Friday is definitely a must-have.

Great food. Awesome service. My Husband and I would have our dates here when we meet 20 year's ago so we came back for another date and cup of coffee. Everything is still perfect. You won't be disappointed.

I go into Cedric’s every week because I love the food so much. The staff is always really friendly and Tara is always my server and she always does an awesome job. My favorite things to eat are the Reuben and the Prime Rib Sliders and the Country Fried Steak. I highly recommend Cedric’s.

I can't believe I had never been to Cedrics until this year. One of my new favorites. I love the fries and the prime rib sliders are amazing. Everything I have tried has been great.

The food was great. Our server was so nice. The portions where large. And I loved the art in there. Some where things I've seen before but there was some that are original. We will definitely come back the next time we are Idaho falls.

I love this place. It's old school. The food is delicious and the portions are large. They have the best croutons for salad as well. I would choose this place over similar chain restaurants. Hometown feeling with great food. 👍

Great hometown cooking with large breakfast platters. The menu is 5 pages long and is good food. I really enjoyed.

The portions here are great! The building may look somewhat sketch but it’s only cuz it’s next to a gas station. Really good food and the name of the restaurant is cool ;)

I love this place. I've always loved this place they have the best staff. A couple of them are my absolute favorites. The food is good the service is great. And they have yummy scones.

Everthing was great as always, sad to see the lack of people tonight and don't like hearing they might close because of viruse but safety first.

Stopped in for lunch on our way through Idaho Falls I grabbed the Baja Chicken burger it's topped with pineapple and ham salsa, onions, pickle and tomato. Chicken was cooked well tasted really good and pineapple salsa was good with it. Would have been 4 stars but fries were way over cooked and hard to eat but really easy fix good spot for food.

Always, more exvellent food than I could possible eat. Great service as usual!

Outstanding! The food was fantastic & our server was even better! Her name badge said that she was a "trainee," but she was extremely friendly, warm & authentic, and incredibly attentive. Every server should be like this young lady!

This restaurant has a small town family diner vibe. All of the employees were super friendly and helpful. The food was delicious! My husband chose this place and I wasn't really excited to try a restaurant I hadn't been to before. I have to say, the Ruben sandwich I ordered was the best I have had in YEARS! Just the right amount of each ingredient and the bread was perfectly crisp. I will probably be craving another one soon... Two thumbs up!

Just walking up to the place to get a great feeling walking again and you feel like you’re at home! The food is to die for! The Reuben sandwich is amazing on a wonderful marble rye bread thick Cut french fries that are so yummy! The hubby had a Mac and hamburger which she absolutely loved the macaroni and cheese was not out of the box! Definitely a place to visit and we will definitely be back!

They have no clue what a proper scone is or a Navajo taco ... but the standard 2-egg breakfast is good and their bacon is delicious. If I'm ever passing through again I will definitely stop.

Cedric's has one of the most unique and delicious menus in the area! The portions are huge (but priced fairly), and the staff is always warm and friendly. Love this place!

Best breakfast place on our yearly trip

One of the best diners in Idaho Falls. Their scones are some of the very best and the cinnamon and sugar butter is absolutely delicious. I especially love the coffee. I suggest the patty melt, the hot roast beef sandwich, and the onion rings. I highly recommend eating here.

We went for a birthday party so there would be a variety on the menu for a large group. It's a small business cafe type feel. Everyone seemed to enjoy what they ordered. The meals are little heavy on the carbs.

This is still one of my favorite restaurants. They have about every kind of omelet you can imagine! Love this place! Great food and great prices

I'm appalled that nobody is wearing a mask. After surviving one coronavirus shutdown, seems like the management would be willing to take necessary measures to avoid another. One infection and the whole restaurant gets quarantined!!!

Thought we would try this restaurant for breakfast. Though it’s completely run down and very uncomfortable, we tried. We were sat bay the hostess and left for dead. 10 minutes went by and not one person talked to us. It wasn’t busy, though it should be at the time we went. Drove 1/2 mile down the street to O’Brady’s and couldn’t find a parking spot it was so busy.

A little old school. But the food is really good and so are the prices.
